Leading manufacturer, operating in the machine tool sector, with a view to strengthening its structure, has entrusted us with the task of searching for a
International Sales Engineer
Ref. 09/25
The resource will report to the Commercial Director and will be responsible for managing assigned customers and business development, with particular reference to foreign markets.
More specifically, he/she will be in charge of:
- market analysis, research of commercial opportunities, development of new business areas, in accordance with company objectives;
- proactive contact, visits and relationship maintenance with existing and/or potential customers;
- analysis of customer-specific technical requirements;
- preparation of technical offers in line with the requirements expressed by the customer, with the support of the pre-sales function;
- management of sales negotiations;
- coordination of agents, representatives and sales personnel of foreign offices;
- support to Sales Management initiatives;
- participation in trade fairs/events in the sector.
Requirements:
The figure sought has obtained a degree in Mechanical, Materials Engineering or similar and has good experience in technical-commercial roles within companies operating in the machine tools or tooling sector.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of a second European language (possibly German) is also preferable.
The ability to calculate cycle times will be appreciated.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills complete the profile.
Candidates coming from engineering or technical assistance backgrounds interested in professional development towards commercial roles will also be considered.
A willingness to undertake short-term but frequent international travel is indispensable.
Contractual framework and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
